Harpreet Kaur, a Punjabi woman from the historic village of Khatkar Kalan, has been appointed as a police officer in Italy. Born in Rome in 1995, she completed her law degree from the University of Modena and previously served in the Italian military. She has officially joined the San Bonifacio police station in Verona province as a local police episodic agent starting July 1, 2026.
