Women from several villages in Patna block, Keonjhar district, protested against the opening of a new government liquor shop near Sadhupada. Over 60 women marched to meet the Tehsildar, BDO, and Excise officials, demanding the shop's relocation. They argued that the shop is located within 100 meters of the village, near a goddess shrine, a bus stand, nursing schools, and girl's hostels, causing safety concerns for students and locals.
