The Deputy Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) of Odisha, Padmanabha Behera, confirmed that the heatstroke death toll in the state has reached 3. One death each has been reported from Balangir, Sundargarh, and Subarnapur districts. Out of 16 reported cases, 3 are confirmed as heatstroke deaths, while the remaining 13 are under investigation.
