The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and various temple trusts in Nagpur have strongly opposed the Maharashtra government's proposed 'Temple Inam Land Rights Abolition Law.' VHP leader Anil Sambare stated that these lands were granted centuries ago for religious and social activities and are central to Hindu faith. The organization warned that the law would cripple the financial stability of thousands of ancient temples. They have demanded the removal of encroachments from temple lands and requested the formation of an expert committee, including religious leaders, to draft a new bill for land conservation. https://rashtrabharat.com/state/maharashtra-news/nagpur/vhp-demands-cancel-temple-inam-land-law/ #creator program
