Vedanta Aluminium has enrolled 318 youths in its residential skill development initiative 'Vedakshata' in Jharsuguda and Sundargarh districts. Partnering with the Society for Social Empowerment and Economic Development (SEEDS), the program focuses on industry-ready skills and sustainable livelihoods near coal mining areas. So far, 131 participants have secured employment in various organizations.
