On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, the Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) regional office in Sangrur, in collaboration with M/s Sangrur RNG Private Limited, Dhuri, organized a plantation drive under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign. Approximately 1,000 indigenous tree saplings were planted within the industrial premises to enhance greenery and combat climate change. PPCB officials emphasized the importance of maintaining ecological balance and urged citizens and industries to adopt sustainable lifestyle practices under 'Mission LiFE'.
