Around 300 tourists were stranded in the air after a technical snag hit the famous Gulmarg Gondola ropeway in Jammu and Kashmir. The sudden stoppage caused panic among tourists. Rescue operations were launched by the Army, Police, SDRF, and NDRF. Despite bad weather, rescue teams reached the cabins using ladders and successfully evacuated most of the tourists.
