Amritsar Police busted a cross-border smuggling module, arresting two individuals, Sukhdev Singh and Harjinder Singh. Authorities recovered 2.225 kg of heroin, six sophisticated foreign-made pistols (from China, USA, Austria, and Turkey), and 12 live cartridges. DGP Gaurav Yadav stated that the suspects were receiving consignments via drones from across the border to supply them to criminal elements in Punjab. Both accused have a prior criminal record involving kidnapping and arms possession.
