Farmer organizations in Punjab have announced a massive protest across 17 districts on June 8 to address the urea shortage. Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher stated that during the KMM meeting in Gwalior, it was decided to burn effigies of the central and state governments. The protests are also planned in Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar.
