Two minor brothers aged between 12 and 14 years drowned to death while bathing in the Bhargavi River near Chandanpur in Puri district. The incident occurred near the Jankadeipur railway bridge when the boys, who reportedly did not know how to swim, went to the river at around 9:30 AM. They were the sons of local vegetable sellers. Following the incident, their bodies were recovered and sent for post-mortem.
