Ten water meters were stolen from residential houses in Palace Street, Paralakhemundi, Gajapati district. These meters were installed by the Public Health Department to monitor water usage and collect taxes. It is suspected that a specific gang is behind these thefts due to high demand for these meters in neighboring Andhra Pradesh.
