On the 42nd anniversary of Operation Blue Star (June 1984), the SGPC has commenced Akhand Path at Akal Takht Sahib to observe Ghallughara Diwas. The final prayers (Bhog) will be held on June 6. A photo exhibition showcasing the events of 1984 has been organized at Gurdwara Manji Sahib. Additionally, the holy Saroop of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, which was injured during the military action, will be displayed for devotees on June 6. Tight security measures, including the deployment of paramilitary forces, are in place around the Golden Temple complex.
