Investigations revealed that the hotel was operating illegally with 26 rooms despite having permission for only six, and lacked fire safety certificates and emergency exits. Hotel owner Lavkesh Bajaj has been arrested and remanded for four days, while the manager is absconding. Currently, 15 injured people are undergoing treatment at Max Hospital.
