A 14-year-old girl in Hoshiarpur's Purhiran area was allegedly raped by an individual she met on Instagram. The accused, Deepak Kumar, befriended the victim online and took advantage of her parents' absence to lure her to a secluded location at the Industrial Area Focal Point. Police have registered a case under the BNS and POCSO Act following a complaint by the victim's mother.
