The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall alert for 19 states across India, including Odisha, Delhi, and Bihar. A 1,500 km long monsoon trough extending from the Bay of Bengal to Jammu and Kashmir is expected to bring intense rain and winds of 70-80 km/h until July 4th. A Red Alert has been issued for Mumbai, Thane, and Navi Mumbai.
