The Karnataka State Coir Development Corporation (KSCDC) has partnered with private entities to boost the sale of coir products through e-commerce websites like coirkarnataka.in and coirempower.com. Managing Director C.N. Shivaprakash announced that coir mats made by rural women will be displayed and sold at 89 branches of Amrut Chaha. The corporation aims to provide employment to over 700 rural women through its 35 production units.
