A youth named Ritimanta Chhatria from Thuamul Rampur block in Kalahandi district has filed a police complaint against Junior Engineer Pratap Kumar Sahu for allegedly embezzling funds meant for a 5T school transformation project. The youth claims he is owed 1.5 lakh rupees for work completed in 2022-23, which the engineer refuses to pay. There are also broader allegations of corruption and false billing against multiple engineers in the block, prompting an investigation by a special district administration team.
