On 30 May 2026, a massive sandstorm and dust storm swept across several parts of Rajasthan, especially affecting districts like Churu, Bikaner, Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Sikar and Jaipur. The sandstorm also reduced visibility in parts of Delhi, with dust laden winds, spread into more areas of Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram and Faridabad. Weather officials said the storm was linked to a Western Disturbance, with wind speeds reaching around 70 - 80 kmph in parts of northwest Rajasthan & Delhi NCR. The dust storm was followed by rainfall in several districts, bringing relief from the ongoing heatwave that had pushed temperatures above 47°C in some regions. #RAJASTHAN
