Odisha Livelihoods Mission (OLM) and IIT Bhubaneswar have signed an MoU to empower rural women entrepreneurs. The initiative, launched in the presence of Deputy CM Pravati Parida, aims to provide business consultancy, technical support, and market linkage. Under the Startup Village Entrepreneurship Program, an incubation process will support at least 150 rural enterprises over the next three years. The central government has approved Rs 10.70 crore for this project, with Rs 99 lakh sanctioned to IIT Bhubaneswar in the first phase.
