Scottish Premiership giants Rangers have signed former Sunderland captain Dan Neil on a three-year deal. The 24-year-old midfielder, who rose through the Sunderland academy, played 201 senior matches and scored 12 goals for the club. He played a crucial role in promoting Sunderland back to the Premier League after eight years and also contributed to Ipswich Town's promotion during a loan spell. Rangers manager Derek McInnes praised Neil's energy, ball control skills, and leadership qualities as he welcomed him to the Glasgow-based club.
