Police and Excise officials in Odisha's Jharsuguda and Balangir districts seized a large quantity of ganja and arrested three individuals, including two primary school teachers. In Jharsuguda, 2.5 quintals of ganja worth ₹25 lakhs were recovered after a smuggling car crashed while fleeing. In a separate incident near Saintala, Balangir, excise officials caught two teachers and another youth transporting 33 kg of ganja in a car.
