The Odisha government and local administration have launched a major cleanliness drive to make Daringbadi, known as the 'Kashmir of Odisha', plastic-free and world-class. Under the guidance of Sub-Collector Pranita Das and BDO Pritiranjan Rath, a weekly cleaning drive is held every Thursday. Former MLA Jacob Pradhan along with the Young Men's Christian Association and hundreds of youth participated in cleaning the streets from Lal Bahadur High School to the Block Office.
