A 67-year-old farmer named Jarnail Singh died due to an electric shock while operating a water motor in his field at Kharora village, Fatehgarh Sahib. The incident occurred on Saturday night when he went to water his crops. After he failed to return home, his family found him unconscious near the motor. He was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital. The deceased was a marginal farmer who also worked as a laborer to support his family.
