Under the Jal Jeevan Mission in Bhatpalli village of Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, the long-standing drinking water crisis has been resolved. Previously dependent on hand pumps, 34 households now receive pure piped water. Two 10 KL solar-based water structures have been installed for supply. A local youth, trained as a 'Nal Jal Mitra', manages the system.
