Ganjam district in Odisha has achieved a remarkable feat by winning three prestigious national awards at a ceremony in Delhi. The district secured the second position as the best District Panchayat in India. Additionally, Mandar Panchayat of Polasara block was recognized as the second-best socially just and secured panchayat, while Potalampur Panchayat of Chatrapur block was named the third-best healthy panchayat in the country. The district received an incentive of 3 crore rupees, while the winning panchayats received 37.50 lakh and 25 lakh rupees respectively.
