On the occasion of Snana Yatra, Lord Jagannath donned the Gajanan Besha (Elephant attire) for the first time at the Patitapaban Temple in Simanbadi, Daringbadi. A newly constructed Snana Mandap was inaugurated with Vedic rituals before the deities were brought for the holy bath. Young artist Nihar Ranjan Sahu prepared the beautiful Gajanan Besha, which attracted a large number of devotees from nearby areas like Kirikuti and Tilori.
