Due to power supply disruption caused by a Nor'wester storm on May 13, farming activities of 27 farmers in 5 villages of Khaprakhol block, Balangir have been severely affected. Electricity poles were uprooted, and despite complaints, they haven't been fixed for 8 days. Lack of irrigation is causing paddy and vegetable crops to wither.
