The CBI has arrested the alleged kingpin of the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case, P.V. Kulkarni, a chemistry professor from Pune. Kulkarni, who was involved in the NTA exam process, allegedly violated confidentiality by leaking the question paper to students through secret coaching classes at his residence. Investigation revealed that the questions provided in his tuition matched the actual exam paper held on May 3. Following the scam, the government cancelled the 2026 NEET-UG exam.
