IAS officer Dhiman Chakma, who was previously suspended for allegedly accepting a bribe, has rejoined duty as the Deputy Secretary of the Revenue Department. The 2021 batch officer was caught red-handed by the Vigilance department while accepting a bribe of 10 lakh rupees during his posting as the Sub-Collector of Dharmagarh in Kalahandi district. During the raid, 47 lakh rupees in cash was also seized from his residence.
