Gurdaspur MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa conducted a surprise raid on illegal mining sites in Gurchak and Ghari areas. During the operation, mining workers fled leaving behind their machinery. Police seized 15 trucks and 3 JCB machines, and arrested one person. Randhawa accused the AAP government of protecting the mining mafia and stated that illegal activities are damaging bridges and altering river flows.
