Due to the ongoing heatwave in Odisha, the state government authorized district collectors to decide on school reopenings. Consequently, districts like Angul, Subarnapur, Balangir, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Boudh, and Ganjam have extended summer vacations until June 20th. Since June 21st is a Sunday, schools in these regions will reopen on June 22nd. However, schools in Khordha district and Bhubaneswar will reopen as scheduled on Thursday.
