A 24-year-old youth named Ajaypal Singh committed suicide by consuming poison in Tarn Taran, Punjab, just two months after his marriage. The deceased, who worked at a jewelry shop for 12 years, was allegedly being mentally harassed by the shop owners after he expressed a desire to start his own business. The family claims the owners accused him of theft and demanded 15 lakh rupees. Before taking the extreme step, Ajaypal recorded a video explaining his ordeal.
