The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) is set to investigate the murder of GRP Constable Soumya Ranjan Swain in Balianta. A two-member team will visit Odisha for five days to analyze the incident. So far, 17 people have been arrested by the police and Crime Branch. Soumya's parents recently met the Chief Minister, expressing dissatisfaction with the current Crime Branch probe and demanding a CBI investigation.
