On 19 April 2026, at a wedding/engagement function in Noida, at a Diamond Crown Banquet hall in Sector 49, a well-dressed man in a formal suit infiltrated the function by posing as a guest, casually mingled with attendees, ate food, and discreetly surveyed the venue before seizing the opportunity to steal a bag containing around ₹5 lakh in cash (and possibly jewellery) belonging to the bride’s side. The act, captured clearly on CCTV, shows him calmly picking up the bag and walking out within seconds without raising suspicion. The theft was later noticed by the family, prompting them to review footage and file a complaint, leading police to register a case and begin scanning CCTV and nearby areas to identify the suspect, who, as per latest updates, remains at large. #shaadi
