A 19-year-old Punjabi student, Komalpreet Kaur, died in a road accident in Perth, Australia. Originally from the Raikot area of Ludhiana district, she had moved to Australia last year to pursue a nursing course at Stanley College. The incident occurred on Saturday night when a speeding car driven by another 19-year-old struck her while she was walking near the Bentley Shopping Centre. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she was declared dead by doctors.
