A 5.7 magnitude earthquake struck near Bhutan on Sunday night around 11:06 PM, sending tremors across Northeast India, including Assam, Meghalaya, and Sikkim. The epicenter was located about 252 km from parts of Assam. Tremors were also felt in West Bengal, Bangladesh, Nepal, and parts of China.
