Four former AIADMK ministers and ex-MLAs have joined the TVK party in Chennai due to internal conflicts within AIADMK. The leaders, including Udumalai K Radhakrishnan and MC Sampath, joined in the presence of TVK general secretaries. This follows a previous rebellion where 25 AIADMK MLAs supported Chief Minister C.
