The Odisha government has reassigned two senior IPS officers. 2009 batch IPS Akhilesvar Singh, currently DIG of Special Intelligence Wing (SIW), has been given additional charge as DIG of South-Western Range. Meanwhile, Dr. Kanwar Vishal Singh, previously DIG of South-Western Range, has been appointed as the new DIG of the Special Task Force (STF).
