Contractual employees of PUNBUS and PRTC in Punjab have declared an indefinite strike starting June 10 over long-pending demands. The workers are protesting against the government's kilometer scheme and demanding regularisation of jobs. They have threatened to gherao the Chief Minister's residence on June 11 if their demands are not met.
