A 200-meter long railway boundary wall near the Shiva Temple on Thakurpada Road in Sambalpur was successfully demolished to resolve chronic waterlogging issues. The project, a joint effort between the Sambalpur Municipal Corporation (SMC) and Railway authorities, aims to facilitate proper drain cleaning and widen the busy link road by about 3 meters. The removal of the old wall follows the construction of an alternative wall by the railways.
