Security forces achieved a major breakthrough in the remote forests of Sukma district, bordering Malkangiri, by unearthing a Maoist dump during a joint combing operation. A large quantity of explosives and weapons, including an INSAS rifle, 49 live rounds, SLR and .303 ammunition, magazines, and 30 meters of electric wire were seized.
