Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) has called for a shutdown of the Delhi-Ambala-Amritsar railway line on June 6, 2026, to mark the 42nd anniversary of the military action at the Golden Temple. SFJ's Gurpatwant Singh Pannun referred to the events of June 1984 as the 'Amritsar Genocide' and demanded justice.
