Trinamool Congress (TMC) Rajya Sabha MP Sukhendu Sekhar Ray has resigned from both his parliamentary seat and the party. He personally submitted his resignation to the Rajya Sabha Chairman in Delhi. Ray cited corruption within the party and being sidelined after speaking against it as reasons for his departure. He also commented that the opposition INDIA alliance has no future.
