Food safety officials in Gujarat seized over 3,500 kg of adulterated fennel seeds (saunf) during a raid at Ganpati Cleaning Factory in Unjha. The seeds were being coated with non-edible green chemical dyes to make them appear fresher and more appealing. The unit was operating without a valid FSSAI license.
