Two separate road accidents in Punjab and Haryana claimed five lives. In the first incident near Bharatgarh on the Sri Kiratpur Sahib-Rupnagar highway, three youths (Archit, Himanshu, and Arpita) died when their car hit a parked vehicle. In the second incident near Kurukshetra, two sanitation workers from Mohali MC, Vishal and Neeraj, were killed when a speeding trolley hit their motorcycle.
