The National Commission for Women (NCW) has taken cognizance of the matter and demanded an Action Taken Report from the police within 7 days, including details of the FIR, CCTV, and forensic evidence. Twisha's family met CM Mohan Yadav, who assured them of a fair probe and the possibility of a CBI inquiry if necessary.
