On 27th June 2026: A fatal road accident occurred on the Delhi–Dehradun Expressway near Halgoya Cut in the Rampur Maniharan area of Saharanpur district, Uttar Pradesh. According to police and CCTV-based preliminary findings, a Tata Tiago carrying a family from Bahadurgarh/Sonipat, Haryana allegedly began reversing after missing an exit on the expressway and was struck from behind by a speeding SUV. The collision killed four family members identified as Praveen (40), his wife Preeti (37), his mother Sudesh, and nine-year-old Shivansh, while several others were reported injured.
