Due to heavy storms and bad weather in Bhubaneswar, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi's helicopter made an emergency landing at Samanga helipad in Puri. The CM was returning from a visit to Mayurbhanj. After waiting for 50 minutes inside the helicopter and spending an hour at the circuit house, he eventually returned to the capital by car.
