Tamando police in Bhubaneswar have busted an online escort fraud gang and arrested four individuals. The accused used photos of unknown women from social media to create fake escort service pages. They lured customers into making advance or full payments and then fled with the money. The arrested suspects are Umakanta Dalei, Chittaranjan Mohanty, Tophan Pradhan, and Minji Bhoi. Digital equipment was seized, and police revealed hundreds of people were cheated.
