Odisha Power Generation Corporation (OPGC) has successfully completed the modernization (R&M) of its Stage-I units (2x210 MW) at Ib Thermal Power Station. Following approval from the Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC), the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for these units, which was set to expire in 2026, has been extended by 15 years until June 30, 2041.
